Mr Robin Swann, the North Antrim Ulster Unionist Party Assemblyman and member of the Stormont Culture, Arts and Leisure Committee, has emphasised that “the entire North Antrim constituency must reap the benefits from the proposed five-star golf Runkerry resort near Bushmills. Assemblyman Swann, who is also North Antrim UUP Chairman and the Party’s Culture, Arts and Leisure Spokesperson, said: “I am confident that the development of a five-star golf resort at Runkerry – the Bushmills Dunes Golf Complex – will be a further asset to the local area. “However, there is a real need to ensure the entire North Antrim constituency fully benefits from this much-needed golfing venture. “While this is a terrific investment for this area, we must be cautious about the environmental implications and hopefully these will be managed with care. “The Stormont Executive must realise there are genuine reservations about the phrase ‘hotel’, with the 70-plus chalets … Continue reading →
