Swann challenges O’Dowd on post primary planning
Mr Robin Swann, the North Antrim Ulster Unionist Party Assembly and Chairman of the Stormont Committee for Employment and Learning, has called on the Sinn Fein Education Minister “to firmly clarify” the state of post-primary planning in the region. Assemblyman Swann is also North Antrim UUP Chairman and Party Chief Whip. His challenge to the minister came after he posed a direct question to the Sinn Fein MLA at Stormont. Mr Swann asked the Minister of Education for an update on the post-primary area planning process. Swann wants increase in Farmgate prices for farmers
Mr Robin Swann, the North Antrim Ulster Unionist Party Assembly and Chairman of the Stormont Committee for Employment and Learning, has called on the Sinn Fein Farming Minister to boost the local agricultural industry by increasing farmgate prices. Mr Swann is also North Antrim UUP Chairman and Party Chief Whip, and is a Past President of the Young Farmers’ Clubs of Ulster and former Chairman of Rural Youth Europe. Mr Swann issued his challenge after questioning the minister during question time at Stormont. Act now to save forest walks, urges Swann
Mr Robin Swann, the Ulster Unionist Party Assembly member for North Antrim and Chairperson of the Stormont Employment and Learning Committee, has warned of the “severe financial losses which will occur if the Sinn Fein Farming Minister does not implement an urgent regeneration programme to the Glenariff Forest Park walks”. Swann urges Farming Minister to “declare war” on BVD
Mr Robin Swann, the Ulster Unionist Party Assembly member for North Antrim and Chairman of the Stormont Employment and Learning Committee, has called on the Sinn Fein Farming Minister to “declare open and relentless war against the threat posed to the agricultural sector by Bovine Viral Diarrhoea (BVD). Swann asks for resources for ‘legal commons’
Mr Robin Swann,the North Antrim Ulster Unionist Party Assemblyman and member of the Stormont Agriculture Committee, has urged the Sinn Fein Farming Minister to pledge resources to establish ‘legal commons’, where shared grazing is practiced, Assemblyman Swann, is also North Antrim UUP Chairman and Party Chief Whip. He is a Past President of the Young Farmers’ Clubs of Ulster and Past Chairman of the influential Rural Youth Europe organisation. Mr Swann has asked the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development to make Departmental resources available to enable farmers to establish ‘legal commons’, where shared grazing is practiced, rather than individual farmers having to incur the additional costs of unnecessary fencing.
