Swann urges funding equality for Ulster-Scots radio

Mr Robin Swann, the North Antrim Ulster Unionist Party Assembly and Chairman of the Stormont Committee for Employment and Learning, has called on the Sinn Fein Culture Minister “to give a cast iron guarantee of funding equality for Ulster-Scots broadcasting, especially in supporting fUSe FM radio in Ballymoney”. Assemblyman Swann, who is also UUP Chief Whip and North Antrim UUP Chairman, threw down the cash gauntlet to the Sinn Fein Minister following a Stormont question to her. Mr Swann had asked the Minister what methodology was used in assessing the relative need for future funding for the Ulster-Scots Broadcast Fund and the Irish Language Broadcast Fund.
