Swann praises "highly efficient" recycling centre
Mr Robin Swann, the North Antrim Ulster Unionist Party Assembly member and UUP Leader, has “strongly praised” the Mid and East Antrim Council staff manning the recycling centre in Ballymena for “the highly efficient manner in which they operated the centre in the immediate aftermath of the Christmas period”.
Speaking exclusively to the Ballymena Guardian, Assemblyman Swann said: “The staff manning this very important recycling centre in Ballymena thoroughly deserve our praise in what proved to be an exceptionally busy period immediately following Christmas Day.
“The traffic was very busy and in spite of the very high volume of material to be recycled and segregated, there was particularly effective traffic control and the staff conducted their hectic schedule with smiles on their faces.
“Such professional and dedicated staff are a real credit to the Mid and East Antrim Council in what was a very challenging period, and on behalf of the community I say a very heartfelt ‘well done’ to all the staff involved,” said Assemblyman Swann.
